Turning heads from an early age with his virtuoso cello playing, success has dominated the career of Claudio Bohórquez, including a win at the 2000 International Pablo Casals Competition.
His career to date has seen him garner praise from numerous luminaries, performing with many of the world’s top orchestras including the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestre de Paris, and the Academy of St Martin in the Fields. In 2010 he was invited to perform with the National Symphony Orchestra in Washington.
Working with many of the industry’s top conductors and performing at festivals around the world, Claudio is a man in demand and in 2007 had the honour of the famous Kronberg Academy dedicating the second series of their work The Vision to him.
